An exceptional, investment-grade piece of authentic 1920s Art Deco history. This 34\" endless flapper loop is an attributed Neiger Brothers (Max & Norbert Neiger) production from their highly collectible mid-1920s Chinoiserie / Chinese Revival line, manufactured in Gablonz, Czechoslovakia.
The strand features a continuous run of translucent cherry-red pressed glass barrel beads. Each bead is deeply molded with a debossed geometric variation of the Chinese \"Shou\" longevity symbol flanked by framed structural borders.
Significantly, this is a premium graduated strand. Rather than using uniform shapes, the Neiger factory utilized a full suite of matching scaled iron molds, scaling the smaller beads at the intricate character flawlessly from the back of the neck to zhe large focal barrels.
