Antique 1920s French Art Deco Boudoir Wall Hanging Painted Embroidered Figures
Charming French boudoir wall hanging from the 1920s, depicting two fashionable ladies being serenaded by a man playing pipes. Their expressive faces are hand painted, while the clothing and surrounding details are hand embroidered on dusty pink cotton. The scene has the playful, romantic feel of the flapper era.
Three fabric loops along the top edge allow it to be hung for display. A wonderful large piece for a bedroom, dressing room, or collection of Art Deco textiles.
Measurements: Approximately 21” × 37” (53 × 93 cm).
Condition: Antique textile with age appropriate wear. Please examine the photographs closely for the fabric, embroidery, painted details, and overall condition.
