For sale today is this antique book found at an estate sale. This is a 1864 Godey's Lady's Book. It weighs 2 pounds and 14 ounces. It measures approx. 6 1/2 x 9 1/4 x 2 1/2" (Thick). Someone has repaired the spine which makes the book sturdy. The last two photos show the first and last pages so there may have been others that are not in this book. It is loaded with engravings/prints. As you can see in the photos some of the pages show more wear than others, tears, a small area missing, tape, dirt, fragile pages, foxing etc. The book does have a packed away odor so if that is offensive to you, you won't want to purchase this book. I'm just trying to let you know what to expect. On the other hand, what a fantastic book if you love antique clothing as well as art. I didn't go through page by page but I didn't see any fold out pages in color, just a few with a blue tint to the ink. Look at the pics for a better idea of condition. This will be sent Media Mail. Buy as is.I have had the pleasure of finding cool and unique items from the estate sales we attend. I enjoy offering them to my customers. I have no idea what environment they were exposed to beforehand, some show wear, some have a mild packed away odor, etc. I will try to describe the items to the best of my ability.
