This overshot coverlet measures approximately 84" x 74". It was woven in two sections then stitched together, as was usual in that time period. The colors are navy blue and orangey brown on a greenish gray background; both sides are shown- photos #1 & 2. There are a few light stains, minor weakness at the hem, and some old repairs- see close-ups. The material is somewhat rough to the touch and I'm guessing it is cotton and wool, probably dyed with natural colors.
It has an unusual smell, like talcum powder and petroleum- please wash to your standards as I am not an antique textiles expert. Overall, it's a good survivor.
