In 1919, André François owned a decoration workshop at 115, route d\'Aixe in Limoges until 1922, the year he acquired the Paroutaud brothers\' factory which he operated until 1934. In 1927, he took over the Bawo and Dotter factory located at 23, rue Hyacinthe Faure in Limoges. At that time the company had 200 employees. In 1930 he sold the latter to Robert Haviland and Le Tanneur. In 1919, acquired the “La Seynie” factory in Saint-Yrieix-la-Perche located 40 kilometers south of Limoges and sold it in 1934 to Lajanthe-Pailler-Descottes. During this period André François owned several decoration workshops within the capital porcelain. Its various workshops were located in 1924 at 12/14, rue du Crucifix, in 1925 at 14, rue Encombe Vineuse and from 1913 to 1930 at 9, rue de La fonderie.

Awarded several times for his achievements, he decorates one of the three vases, called the “Nègre” vase, a copy of which is exhibited at the Adrien Du Bouché museum in Limoges. By manu François
