Characteristics: Amazing burl walnut book-matched set coming in at .675 thickness for carve or drop tops. The wood is very solid with no \'punky\' areas. Please note that the nature of burl is such that one should expect voids and imperfections as can be seen in the photos.
Greetings - retiring luthier selling off a stash of amazing tonewood collected over years and years. While this account is new and based out of Canada, I also have a US account (reddawg626) that I have been using since 2000 and have 100% positive response. All tone wood has been stored in a climate controlled workshop for a minimum of 10 years and is ready to be worked. Look carefully at the photos as any imperfections will be identified with chalk (knots, inclusions, cracks, pin holes, worm holes, etc.). In some photos the wood has been wiped with Mineral Spirits to highlight grain/figure and to give an idea of what the finished product might look like.
