These are vintage Altec professional audio components intended for use in recording/broadcast mixing equipment. The 8274 is identified in period Altec literature as a Straight Line Mixer.
All examples are in similar original cosmetic condition with age-related wear, dust, oxidation and/or discoloration. The sliders move mechanically through their range.
