Vintage ABU Ambassadeur 5000 baitcasting fishing reel made in Sweden, finished in the classic deep red anodized color. Includes the period brown Ambassadeur Sweden leather case along with two accessory containers, including the red-capped 5000 container, as shown. Reel retains its cream-colored double handle knobs, star drag, level wind and original hardware. Displays expected vintage use with scratches, finish wear, oxidation/soiling and age-related wear. Leather case has scuffs, staining and interior wear but remains an attractive part of this collectible set. Reel has not been fully serviced or tested for fishing performance.
