Up for sale is an excellent vintage prime lens lens, the Vivitar 28mm f/2.8 Close Focus Wide-Angle lens in Minolta MD mount.
This classic lens is in a family of lenses manufactured by Komine, generally considered to be the best of the Vivitar family of manufacturers, as indicated by its \"28\" serial number.
It improves upon the more common \"regular\" komine-made Vivitar 28 by offering an additional 1:5 close focus capability, allowing for wide close views of small subjects with blurred bokeh backgrounds!
Lens is in nice A+ vintage condition with negligible wear. Mechanics are in excellent condition.Glass free of scratches/haze/fungus.
Includes Vivitar-branded front cap

This lens featuresthe Minolta MD mount which can be used natively on Minolta MD mountfilm SLRs. It also can easily be adapted for manual use on mostpopular DSLR, and mirrorless formats with an inexpensive adapter ring(sold separately, see chart below for digital compatibility).
