A good vintage complete hallmarked silver travelling communion set comprising a sterling silver mounted glass wine flask with stopper, hallmarked silver pyx (lidded container) and matching communion paten, both engraved with the IHS Christogram, together with 4 communion glasses, all housed within the original fitted carry case with silk and velvet lined interior. The silver tray and box are hallmarked for Sheffield and the date letter for 1961. The silver bottle is hallmarked London 1961. All by Williams Bush & Sons Ltd.The weight is approx 56.18g excluding the silver mounted flask collar and cork stopper. A complete and well presented portable communion service which is in very good looked after condition and rare to find these sets complete, the case is also in good order.The case measures 18cm x 13.5 cm x 6 cm.Thanks for looking.
