Beautiful antique porcelain demitasse set featuring lavish 22–24K gold gilt decoration,delicate pink rose garlands, and charming floral-basket medallions.The cups have richly gilded interiors and vertical gold detailing,while the matching saucers repeat the floral basket motif around broad gilt borders.
The set includes 4 demitasse cups and 4 matching saucers (8 pieces total).Each piece is decorated with pink roses, tiny blue floral accents,and oval medallions depicting baskets of roses against a soft green ground.
Condition: The set is exceptionally well preserved overall (c.1870–1920).Three cups and all four saucers are in pristine condition,with beautiful, bright gilding and no chips or cracks observed.One cup has a crack and is therefore not in pristine condition;please see the photographs for its condition.Any minor age-related wear should be considered consistent with an antique porcelain set.
The undersides bear the hand-painted number “26820” and letter “J.”No identifiable factory backstamp is present, so the maker is currently unknown/unattributed.An elegant and unusually decorative antique set, particularly striking for itsextensive gold decoration and vivid floral ornament.
