(2) 8" Tall Roughly 1 pound each
Pair of vintage-style Staffordshire spaniel dog figurines with white and cobalt blue glaze. These are inspired by Victorian Staffordshire pottery dogs, especially the mantel spaniels popular in England during the 1840s–1890s.
Original Staffordshire spaniels were commonly displayed in pairs on fireplace mantels, windowsills, and sideboards. They became familiar decorative pieces in Victorian homes, often symbolizing loyalty, domestic comfort, and refined household taste.
This pair follows the classic seated spaniel form with mirrored posture and decorative collar detailing.
