🛠️ Important Installation Requirements:
- Waterproofing Silicone Caulking Required: To prevent moisture accumulation and lens fogging, you must apply additional silicone caulking along the housing seams prior to final installation.
- Bulbs & Reflectors Not Included: Because this is an All-Clear lens edition, red-emitting bulbs (or red LEDs) for tail/brake functions, as well as separate standalone red rear reflectors, are required to comply with road safety regulations.
- Possible Modification Note: Depending on vehicle model year, regional specs (USDM/EDM/JDM), or previous bodywork history, minor wiring pin adjustments or OEM metal panel alignment may be required.
⚠️ FITMENT NOTICE FOR LATE MODEL (KOUKI) VEHICLES:
This tail light set CANNOT be directly installed on OEM Late-Model (Kouki 1996.8–1998) 180SX chassis without bumper and rear panel conversion to Early/Mid specs. The rear bumper cutlines, rear metal finisher panel, and wiring harness connectors differ on Late-Model Kouki specs.
