  • Twine or string fragments

  • Cracked or broken beans

  • Coffee husk or shell fragments

  • Small stones or other field-related debris

• These materials are common and expected in unroasted coffee and must be removed during normal pre-roast handling and roasting procedures.

• Green coffee must be roasted properly before it can be consumed. Consumption of unroasted coffee is not recommended.

• The final roast profile, flavor, quality, and outcome of the roasted coffee are entirely dependent on the buyer’s roasting process, equipment, skill level, and handling practices.
