Orders ship from Monday to Wednesday. Orders placed from Wednesday afternoon through Sunday will be shipped the following Monday through Wednesday. This schedule is designed to prevent packages from being in transit over the weekend, which could compromise the health of the live animals and plants.
We do insulate, provide cold/hot pack, silver insulated pack and/or foam lining DEPENDING on weather.
DOA Policy:
While DOA\'s are VERY uncommon for us, we do give the extra 1-2 shrimpFORFREE(+1 or +2) in case it does happen. The DOA Policy only applies to the actual amount of shrimp purchased. It does not cover the (+1 or +2) that is included in case of a DOA. Example: If you purchase a 10+2 Pack, you will receive 12 shrimp. If 1-2 are DOA, we do not cover them because you will still have the amount of shrimp purchased (10), minus the free DOA\'s. If 3+ are DOA, we will cover the amount to make you whole -NOTthe extra (+1 or +2). We do require you to contact us within12 hours FROMthe time the package wasdelivered. We will look at your time of delivery from your tracking number to verify this. Please takeTHREEclearpictures of the animals showing the lossIN THE SEALED BAG. We then requireONE clearpicture ofALL THE SHRIMPthat were in the bag in aFLAT CONTAINERwhere we can count and verify the total number of shrimp and the DOAs together. Make sure we can easily count the total number (take a few pictures if you need to). We then needONE clearpicture of all DOA shrimp on a napkin/paper towel so we canEASILYcount and verify the amount. As stated above, we need theMINIMUMof five pictures in order for us to apply the DOA Policy. Without completing these requirements, we will not refund or replace dead animals. Complete compliance is required.
