35\' of 1950\'s - CLOTH COVERED WIRE - for tube/guitar amplifiers, 10 pcs. of 42\" For Sale

Includes 10 pieces of THIN wire each approx. 42 inches long, total of about 420 inches / 35 feet. Good condition.

I think this is called \"cloth insulated\" wiring but can\'t say for sure if it\'s cloth, textile, or some other kind of insulation. It is not plastic and is at least 60 years young. Please check the higher resolution photos carefully for details. I\'ve seen people calling it \"Western Electric\" type wiring but can\'t say if that company made it or not.

This is very thin high quality insulated wire made in the USA. It was salvaged one or more vintage church organs that were probably made in the 1950\'s or early 1960\'s. The organs all used vacuum tubes either for both tone generation and amplification or just in the amplifiers.The wires are all are flexible with no signs of deterioriation or issues. The internal wire is stranded tin covered copper as detailed in the close up photos with the pencil point for size reference.

Should be good for replacing old wiring on vintage tube amps or electronics using period correct parts. For custom builds with a retro vintage look.

IMPORTANT NOTE: the first person who purchases one of these will receive the ACTUAL wires shown in the photos. Subsequent purchases will receive 10 pieces from the same batches but the colors of the wires will not be exactly identical. Will try to supply a similar assortment to what is shown in the photos but no guarantees on what style/color wires you will receive unless you email me before you purchase and let me know specifics required.
