Red hot poker plants aretruly aptly named with their orange, red and yellow flower spikes that looklike blazing torches. These South African natives are popular ornamentalperennials which crave sun and attract Butterflies and Hummingbirds while being deerresistant. Red hot poker plants are easy to grow in well-draining soil.
Growing Shrimp Plants From Seeds
Torch lily seeds willrequire full sun, well-draining soil and plenty of organic matter.
Before sowing, give them acold treatment for 4 weeks.
Place seeds in a baggie inthe refrigerator for up to one month.
Once the seeds havechilled, they are ready to plant.
Sow seeds indoors 6 to 8weeks before planting out.
