Before programming all the modules have to be installed and turned on.This is not an OBD scanner interface, this device does not require any software to operate, this device automatically programs the BCM when you connect it to the vehicle's OBD 2 port. Once the programmer is used on a vehicle, it will become locked to that vehicle's VIN and will not work on any other vehicle.INSTALLATION
Before programming, you will need to unlock the vehicle's security gateway using AutoAuth service(subscription costs $50 for a year). See the last picture in the listing to see what tools you need for unlocking.
You will need OBD2 splitter and Xtool A30M OBD2 scanner(costs $80-130).
You will need to add the scanner's serial number into your AutoAuth account.
Plug the Xtool into the OBD splitter, connect the splitter to the OBD2 port, then run the vehicle.
Using Anyscan app choose the vehicle and connect to the scanner. It will ask about unlocking the security gateway and open the AutoAuth login page in the app. Once you log in, security gateway will be unlocked.
Insert the programmer into the free port of the splitter cable, after each change the device will flash from yellow to red and when programming is done it will emitthegreen light.
Once the green light turns on, remove the splitter from the OBD2 port, restart the car, and everything has to work properly.Specifications
