These areNIFC Kennedy halves. Beginning in 2002, the U.S. Mint dramatically reduced production of Kennedy halves for general circulation and primarily produced them for collectors. That makes these later-date halves considerably less likely to turn up in your pocket change than the older Kennedy issues.
