This figure was released for the 50th anniversary of Godzilla (1954) by Bandai as the first figure in their short-lived premium "Bandai Museum" line. Thefigure design was contracted out to X-Plus, with a sculpt by celebrated kaiju sculptor Ryu Oyama. He stands in a looming pose, as if looking at people flee from him in the streets of Tokyo.19.5 cm tall to his highest point. If this sculpt were posed in a neutral upright stance rather than the looming hunch, he'd probably stand about 22 cm or so. Scale is thus around 1/225 and he tends to fit in well with "standard" sized Showa sofubi.Includes 4 points of articulation at the feet and elbows.Figure is in used condition, with minor paint scuffs on toenails and one on left side of jaw.
