Here are 2 vintage 1940s - 1960s edition children\'s reader books. Printed in U.S.A.I have placed a ruler in some pictures for size reference. Hardcovers. No dust jackets. Color illustrated.I have paged through each book and each is complete. Books showhandling wear. Pages show a range of smudges, spots, tears, marks, creases. One book has brown staining on several pages. The covers have light soiling and marks, and there is more wear at the cover spine ends and tips. No musty or smoke odor - just an old book odor.- It Must Be Magic, Book Four of The Wonder Story Books: By Miriam Blanton Huber and Frank Seely Salisbury. Row, Peterson And Company publisher. Copyright 1953, 1960 edition. It has 352 pages. Has names written inside the front cover and front end page. Just a few minor edge tears and smudges, spots. Ink mark around one page number. Pages 99-114 have creased / wrinkled upper edges. Firm binding, however the last 55 pages stick out longer than the others, have loosened from the upper binding stitch. The cover has more wear, soiling, bumped tips, faded spine.- Fun And Frolic: D. C. Heath And Company.Revised edition. Copyright 1942, 1947. It has 310 pages. No names or writing (other than a name I erased on the back end page). Something was spilled on this book at some time. Something brown was stuck between two Contents pages and page 4-5, and the stains are lighter on pages in between. Another brown stain on pages 46-47, with lighter stains near it. I show some close ups. The remaining pages are rather clean, minor spots, a few tip creases. Firm binding..These books weigh 2 lb 3 oz together. Shipping weight3 lb.
