This lot includes two distinct cards that feature the exact same soldier. The Group Camp Scene: A fascinating, candid shot of soldiers at a WWI military encampment. It features excellent historical details, including conical tents, period uniforms, puttees/leggings, and soldiers holding Springfield rifles. The soldier featured in the solo portrait stands on the far right of this group.The Studio/Portrait Card: A crisp, full-length individual portrait of the same young soldier standing in front of a tree in his formal dress uniform.Both postcards are in unposted, vintage condition with beautiful contrast and period-correct postcard backs (no stamps or writing).
