The box measures 6-7/8\" x 5-3/4\" x 2-5/8\"
The box came with a prayer book inside. The book is formed to the shape it is rolled/folded into to fit in the box. It is made of old parchment with all black text. The book is most likely the Thar Mdo.
There are signs of heavy use throughout the box. There is an old repair on the top of the right silver handle. The front is high grade hand hammered silver and is missing the front plaque.
The back is removable as well as the front.
