The Stone Cold Steve Austin figure remains secured inside its original JAKKS Pacific WWF Wired.com Internet-Active packaging. The outer box has been opened and shows vintage storage/display wear, including edge and corner wear, scuffing, scratches, creasing and small areas of cardboard wear. An original retail price sticker remains on the front.
Electronic/audio features are untested. The original Internet functionality and WWF Wired website/service are not represented as currently operational. Please review all photos carefully for exact condition.
Very unusual piece of late-1990s WWF and early Internet memorabilia: the 1999 JAKKS Pacific WWF Stone Cold Steve Austin Internet-Active Electronic Figure, Item #87510.
Rather than being a standard wrestling action figure, this release was designed to interact with a home computer. The original packaging advertises the ability to plug the figure directly into a PC, access WWFWired.com, and download Stone Cold Steve Austin audio content.
The concept is pure late-1990s technology nostalgia—the packaging specifically lists compatibility with Windows 95/98, dial-up modem requirements, Netscape Navigator and Internet Explorer.
