An outstanding piece of Pittsburgh Pirates history — the actual 1987 game-used uniform pants of Tony Pena (#6), the five-time All-Star catcher who was one of the most popular Pirates of his era, issued for what would become his final season in Pittsburgh before being traded to the St. Louis Cardinals in April 1987.

These are the primary set ("Set 1") pants issued to Pena for the 1987 season. Since Pena was traded to St. Louis in April 1987, these pants would have been worn during Spring Training 1987 — making them an extremely brief-window artifact from the last year of his Pirates career.

White baseball pants with the classic Pittsburgh Pirates black and gold leg stripe and black/gold elastic waistband — the iconic mid-1980s Pirates uniform design. Manufactured by Rawlings. Size 33 waist / 24 inseam. Some age toning/yellowing visible on the front consistent with use.
