Darrell Evans enjoyed an outstanding 21-year major league career, starring for the Braves, Giants, Tigers, and other clubs. A three-time All-Star, Evans combined patience and power throughout his career, finishing with 414 home runs, 1,344 RBIs, and more than 2,200 walks. He helped the Detroit Tigers win the 1984 World Series and remained a productive slugger well into his 40s, becoming one of the most accomplished power hitters of his era.
