All ORIGINAL 1968 TRIUMPH TR6R TROPHY SPORTS . Mechanical restoration. Original paint and Patina in tact . Original condition bike , I firstly semi dismantled and thoroughly cleaned the bike first ,,,also cleaned its original paint . I disassembled the top end rebuilt the head with new valves kibblewhite , guides , springs , cups collars, keepers and gaskets . There was no up/down play in connecting rods. Replaced tappets with mushrooms and adjusted valve clearance. Rebored the cylinder and installed new hepolite pistons and rings . 40 over . Repainted cylinder and re assembled . Original Lucas tail light and headlight glass.. New parts I’ve installed : new rear shocks , Dunlop rear tire Avon front tire ,, brake shoes , wheel bearings , new cloth wire harness , new high output alternator , nos remolds main drive chain , grips , fork boots , installed electronic ignition and strobe timed . Starts first kick . Runs perfectly .Drained and replaced all oils ie. - transmission, main oil tank , forks and primary , refilled . I rebuilt the clutch with new friction plates, and springs , replaced all cables . Installed new Amal concentric carburetor 930 . NOS fuel line installed. Replaced air filter , New plugs , NEW breather hoses throughout , new herringbone Oil lines . Drained and cleaned gas tank . New coils installed with electronic ignition system , new battery. The bike runs perfectly and shifts properly as it should. Perfectly running machine ,, no hiccups…. This is my job , time to move on to another project . I have a clear title in my name , matching numbers of course. Buyers responsibility for shipping or free pick up at the bikes location in Idaho.
