Original mid-20th century pastel or coloured-pencil drawing of Cromer, North Norfolk, signed lower left E.G. Vickers and dated ’65.
A detailed beach-level view looking towards the town with the distinctive tower of St Peter and St Paul Church, terraced buildings and hotels along the seafront, and traditional crab boats drawn up on the sand. The boats carry YH (Great Yarmouth) registrations YH 236, YH 314 and YH 145. Fishermen, lobster pots and figures populate the foreground; gentle waves break on the right. Attractive period colouring and good observation of the local architecture and working beach.
Image size approximately 28 cm × 19 cm. Presented in a silver metal frame with dark blue mount; overall framed size approximately 41.5 cm wide × 31.5 cm high. Ready to hang with wire on the reverse. The back is sealed with brown paper tape in typical mid-century style. Condition is good for age — some expected wear to the frame and mount, no major damage visible to the drawing itself (sold as seen in the photographs).
