Up for sale is a complete 120-coin Kennedy and Sesquicentennial Half Dollar Collection spanning the entire business strike history of the Kennedy Half Dollar from its introduction in 1964 through the final Kennedy design (??) in 2025, together with the new 2026 Sesquicentennial Half Dollars.

This collection includes every regularly issued Philadelphia and Denver business strike half dollar from 1964 through 2026, plus the two special business strike issues that complete the series:

• 1976-S 40% Silver Bicentennial Kennedy Half Dollar

• 2017-S Enhanced Uncirculated Kennedy Half Dollar

This is a truly comprehensive modern half dollar collection and includes every regular business strike issue released by the U.S. Mint since the Kennedy Half Dollar debuted following President Kennedy\'s assassination.

All coins have been sourced directly from original U.S. Mint rolls, bags, Mint Sets, special Mint products, or original uncirculated bank rolls (where Mint Sets were not produced) and are attractive uncirculated examples.

Highlights of the Collection1964 – The Original Silver Kennedy Half Dollar

The collection begins with the historic 1964 Philadelphia and Denver Kennedy Half Dollars, the only circulation Kennedy halves struck in 90% silver. The 1964-D is also notable as the only Kennedy Half Dollar bearing its mint mark on the reverse of the coin.

1965–1970 – The 40% Silver Era

Included are every circulating 40% silver Kennedy Half Dollar:

• 1969-D

• 1970-D

The 1970-D was issued only in U.S. Mint Sets and was never released into circulation, making it one of the key business strike coins of the series.

1976 Bicentennial Silver Issue

The set also includes the 1976-S 40% Silver Bicentennial Kennedy Half Dollar, issued exclusively in the U.S. Mint\'s special Bicentennial Silver Uncirculated Set and never released into circulation.

1982 & 1983 Mint Set Years

Because the U.S. Mint did not produce Mint Sets in 1982 or 1983, attractive uncirculated examples of these Philadelphia and Denver half dollars are considerably more difficult to obtain than surrounding years.

Collector-Only Kennedy Half Dollars (2002–2025)

Beginning in 2002, Kennedy Half Dollars were no longer produced for general circulation and instead were sold directly by the U.S. Mint in rolls and bags. As a result, nearly all Kennedy Half Dollars from 2002 through 2025 have relatively modest mintages compared to circulating coinage.

2017-S Enhanced Uncirculated Kennedy Half Dollar

Also included is the highly sought-after 2017-S Enhanced Uncirculated Kennedy Half Dollar, issued only in the 225th Anniversary Enhanced Uncirculated Coin Set, limited to 225,000 sets. The coin features multiple enhanced finishes and remains one of the most desirable modern collector-only Kennedy Half Dollars.

2026 Sesquicentennial Half Dollars

The collection concludes with both Philadelphia and Denver examples of the historic 2026 Sesquicentennial Half Dollar.

Issued for one year only to commemorate the 250th Anniversary of the United States, these coins mark the end of the Kennedy design\'s remarkable run and become the first circulating U.S. half dollars in more than 50 years not to feature President Kennedy.
