Up for sale is a rare, original factory OEM Chrome Rear Bumper Center License Plate Surround/Guard for 1954 Oldsmobile models, including the 88, Super 88, and Ninety-Eight. Measuring approximately 28 inches across, this heavy-duty steel piece forms the central lower housing for the rear license plate on the iconic mid-fifties Oldsmobile rear bumper setup. The factory mounting tabs along the bottom are intact and ready to mount. Structurally, this piece is straight, solid, and free of cracks or major bends, making it an excellent restoration core or survivor-grade driver replacement. The original chrome finish displays age-appropriate surface wear, light pitting, and patina. It can be bolted on as-is for a classic survivor or hot rod build, or sent out for triple-plate re-chroming to complete a high-end, factory-correct restoration.
