From the vault:Here is an excellent part...hard to photograph.It appears this is an early take-off, or nos part which lost its stainless cap.It looks as though, from the studs, it may have never been installed, but that it once had its cap, now gone.There is NO PITTING. There are some very light hairline scratches from storage out of a box. It clearly has never been plated and lost detail.There is dirt on the underside which indicates it was installed...can't tell.Anyway, you will not find a better one unless you stumble on one in the wrapper !Casting number is 1459393. Part number with cap is 3509459.
