The 1926 United States Peace Silver Dollar. Designed by sculptor Anthony de Francisci, the motif represents the nation\'s desire for reconciation following World War I.

• Obverse (Front): Features a left-facing profile portrait of Lady Liberty wearing a radiant tiara. The word \"LIBERTY\" arcs along the top edge, while the national motto \"IN GOD WE TRVST\" flanks her neck (rendered in a classical Roman style using a \"V\" instead of a \"U\"). The date 1926 is clearly struck at the bottom rim. 

• Model: Borria Teresa Cafarelli in Italy in 1898, she immigrated to the United States.

The Peace Dollar: Her profile was used by her sculptor husband, Anthony de Francisci, to design the coin introduced in 1921.

REVERSE: Depicts a bald eagle perched on a mountain peak, clutching an olive branch. It faces a rising sun with the inscriptions \"UNITED STATES OF AMERICA\", \"E PLURIBUS UNUM\", \"ONE DOLLAR\", and the word \"PEACE\".
