Wonderful 1920s-era CANCO souvenir tin featuring the beautifully illustrated “Fairy Lake – Rainier National Park” scene with Mount Rainier rising above the evergreen forest and figures enjoying the lakeshore. Produced for Liberty Orchards Company of Cashmere, Washington, this approximately 7 1/2-inch diameter by 1-inch-tall tin is an outstanding piece of early Pacific Northwest and National Park tourism memorabilia. Considering its roughly 100-year age, it remains in fairly good vintage condition with vivid artwork that displays beautifully; expected age-related wear includes scratches and rubbing/paint loss around the edges and rim as clearly shown in the photos. A fantastic collectible for Mount Rainier, National Park Service, Washington State, vintage travel, outdoor and early American souvenir collectors.
