This is a very nice antique steamer trunk with some history. Just based off of a note left inside the trunk stating that the trunk was \"used by Jewish refuges fleeing Germany in the 1930\'s Openheimer Family\".
Unfortunately that is all I have to go off of until more proof can be found.
It measures just over 41 inches long and 23 inches wide. There are water stains on the inside and it is a little beat up which just shows that it has been a well used piece of luggage.
Condition: Used - Good antique condition consistent with 100+ year age. Expect surface wear, scuffs, patina to leather and metal, and age-related wear to interior and exterior. Please review all photos carefully as they are part of the description. Sold as-is.
