On November 4th of this year, she swam the 100-yard backstroke in 1 minute, 27 and 3/5 seconds. She broke the record for the 50-yard straightaway swim in 1918, doing it in 30 and 1/5 seconds.In 1917, she won the National 100-Yard Championship and an All-Around Championship.Photo is Dated: December 17, 1919.
