For sale: a single 1919 Bank Polski 500 Zlotych banknote (Pick 58), serial number S.A. 4365175, dated Warszawa 28 February 1919. The front shows a portrait of Tadeusz Kosciuszko; the back shows the Polish white eagle. This note is circulated, graded Fair: it has a horizontal center fold, small nicks along the edges, and light soiling, but the paper is solid with no holes or tears. The Kosciuszko watermark is visible when the note is held to light (see photo 3). Please study all photos carefully — the note pictured is the exact note you will receive. Ships flat in a protective sleeve between rigid cardboard, tracked.

Provenance: These banknotes come from my grandfather\'s collection. He was a Holocaust survivor who collected them in Munich just after World War II, after being rescued by the Americans. He kept them in his drawer for the rest of his life, and I inherited them when he passed away.
