It was launched asCollier\'s Once a Week, then renamed in 1895 asCollier\'s Weekly: An Illustrated Journal,[1]shortened in 1905 toCollier\'s: The National Weeklyand eventually to simplyCollier\'s. Thmagazine ceased publication with the issue dated the week ending January 4, 1957.
