Antique 1915 New Year Bird Postcard – F. A. Owen Co. – No. 890
Charming antique New Year postcard featuring seven birds perched among branches and holly.
The printed verse reads:
“These messengers are singing thanks,
For your sweet gift to me
They bring, besides, the best of luck.
May glad your New Year be.”
Small “M.H.S.” initials appear at the lower right of the illustration.
Card is numbered 890 at lower left.
Reverse is marked F. A. Owen Co., Dansville, N.Y. and retains its original handwritten message, address, postage stamp and January 1915 postmark.
Approximate size: 5½ × 3½ inches.
