Beautiful walnut. Will fit all variations of 1903 and 1903A3 rifles by Springfield, Rock Island, Remington and Smith Corona. Minimal fitting IS REQUIRED.You must insure you have adequate clearance between the rear of the receiver tang and the stock, 3/32" is the minimal clearance.Remember these are made of wood and every one will have a different grain and their own characteristics.
