The names Benjamin Davis and Jane Davis are written repeatedly in several different hands, along with additional old handwritten markings. These inscriptions appear to document the ownership and passing down of the book through a family.The book retains its original leather binding and has a wonderful antique appearance.CONDITION:This is an approximately 180-year-old book and is being sold AS FOUND. It has heavy wear to the leather covers and spine, rubbed and worn corners, leather loss along portions of the edges, age toning/foxing, and numerous handwritten inscriptions. The binding shows significant age and use.
