Prep: Power off the unit. Cover any electrical components (capacitor, contactor, control board). Remove visible debris from the coil fins with a soft brush.
Apply: Shake well, hold the can 6–8 inches from the coil, spray a heavy foam coat onto the dirty surface. Let it dwell 5–10 minutes — the foam will turn brown as it lifts soil. Spray both faces of the coil where access permits.
Rinse / drain: No water rinse required — restart the unit and condensate during normal operation will carry the dissolved soil down the drain pan. For heavily soiled coils, a light rinse is acceptable.
