I am aware that many people, with good reason, prefer to avoid pest or snail infested plants. However, I have snails (specifically ramshorn) in my aquarium where I harvest the salvinia. Only buy if you are willing to accept the possible risk of introducing the snail species to your aquarium. When purchased I will contact and remind you that your purchase may or may not contain the snails and that by purchasing this plant you are aware of the risk.
