Rare set of 10 large antique pre-war glass Christmas ornaments, attributed to Heidt, circa 1930s–early 1940s.Beautiful matched collection of oversized blown-glass ornaments featuring deep silvered reflector indents with raised red rose/flower centers and hand-painted radiating decoration.The ornaments are exceptionally large compared with typical period ornaments. The example shown measures approximately 4½–5 inches long, depending on how measured, with a broad oval/teardrop body.The set includes a wonderful assortment of period colors including hot pink/magenta, red, orange/coral, gold, champagne/olive and a striking turquoise blue.All 10 have the same distinctive reflector treatment and appear to have remained together as a set for many years. They retain their old metal caps/hangers. The original divided cardboard storage box is included if desired; box is worn and damaged from age.Condition: Antique condition with expected age-related oxidation, spotting, loss/wear to the silvering and painted decoration, and tarnish/oxidation to the metal caps. Please examine all photographs carefully for condition.
