The 6AS7G is a low-mu twin triode with octal basing. The heater is 6.3 V, 2.5 A. The 6AS7G is rated at 26 watts total. This tube type has been used in radio transmitters, commercial as well as industrial equipment and more recently has found a following with scratch builders for its application in custom audio amplifiers.
