There’s a fascinating story waiting to be told about a Dutchman who recently passed away named Nevil Schoenmakers whose exploits I photographed in some of the most dangerous areas of the Middle East during the early nineteen eighties. He single-handedly made high quality Mary Jane seed available to more people worldwide, America in particular, than all the others put together; he was the originator of what has become a multi-million dollar Dutch seed industry. His rise and fall is a fascinating tale of brilliance, ego, greed, selfishness, jail escape across international boundaries and dirty dealing by the DEA.
This is a story with photos no one else has. More photos available upon request. Please note, these catalogs are over 50 years old. Front and rear over image quality is very good but there is some visible rust residue around staples on the interior pages. See closeup photo.
