***READ DESCRIPTION*** Rare Tiger Striped Frogbit Floating Aquarium Plant:

- You will get a handful of plants in a zip top bag with air to act as a cushion, inside of a bubble or paper padded mailer. A damp piece of newspaper helps to keep the moisture on the roots and alive and off the top of leaves which can cause melting.
- Duckweed free!
- Easy to grow, self propagates quickly
- The brighter the light, the darker and more stripes it will have. It will still grow in lower light, but it will lose its stripes and look more like normal frogbit.
- This plant does best in slow moving or still water, and does not like very humid air on its surface. If your aquarium has a lid, proper ventilation is key. Turbulent water can damage the roots and high humidity (or the plant being pulled under water) will cause it to melt over time.
- Floating plants are excellent at sucking up excess nutrients that can cause algae
- This plant comes from an aquarium with ramshorn snails. I will visually inspect for snails and remove any that I find, but I cannot guarantee there won\'t be tiny hitchhikers.For instructions on how to dip aquarium plants prior to placement in tank, Google \"Buceplant Plant Dip for Snails/ Algae\"
- **Important Note About Shipping** Plants may become damaged in shipping during very cold or very hot weather (below freezing or above 85 F). It is the buyer\'s responsibility to decide if they are willing to risk plants shipping in these conditions. Once you place your order, your plants will be shipped in a bubble mailer. I am not responsible for what happens to them during shipping. These plants are easy to grow and survive shipping in good conditions well, but they are fragile to extreme temperatures. I cannot provide heat or ice packs as using those in a small package would kill the plants. If you would like your plants shipped in a different way (cardboard box, wrapped in damp newspaper, no newspaper etc) please direct message me before purchase so I can accommodate you.
