Eventually, an opportunity brought Jose to the United States a challenge he embraced wholeheartedly in pursuit of the American Dream.
Like many immigrants starting over, Jose was willing to do whatever it took to build a better future for his family. He began working as a maintenance worker at a local building, handling everything from mopping floors to cleaning bathrooms.
