With titanium construction instead of aluminum, this model improves reel sensitivity while retaining performance.

1. First remove the Genuine line roller and remove all internal parts.

2. Assemble the Line Roller ZERO parts in order: 1.2 shim, BB, 0.2 shim, ZERO main body, BB, 0.5 shim, Genuine receiving plate.
* When installing Line Roller ZERO, apply oil (e.g. MT-04) to the BB during assembly.

3. Confirm the line roller spins smoothly. If rotation is poor, slightly loosen the screw.


- DAIWA

1. First remove the Genuine line roller and all internal components.
(Some Genuine weights may be hidden and attached.)

2. From the bail side, install in order: 1.2 shim, BB, 0.2 shim, ZERO main body, BB, 0.8 shim.

* For LUVIAS, install without the 0.8 shim.
Models pre-2005 DAIWA reels share line roller shape but use different shims.
MTCW installation service is available for compatible reels.

* When installing Line Roller ZERO, apply oil (e.g. MT-04) to the BB during assembly.

3. Confirm the line roller spins properly. If rotation is poor, slightly loosen the screw.

4. 2 gram weight for DAIWA is included.
When converting to 2BB, the rotor may wobble.
If wobble occurs, attach the weight inside the rotor.
* Caution: Be sure to degrease the attachment area before applying the weight.
If the weight interferes with the spool, insert adjustment shim to lift the spool.
