The air suspension leveling valve KD2205 is a replacement part for OEM KD2205 that is designed for Freightliner M2 106 Class trucks (2012 model) and Barksdale. These Barksdale height control valves are essential to making accurate height adjustments and leveling for the truck’s suspension systems. These leveling valves regulate the suspension system’s height in trucks as they control airflow through their five ports. The trailer leveling products from Mytee Products helps to maintain the vehicle’s stability and handling as it can adjust to different load conditions. The 8” bent leveler of our leveling valve has flexible installation and adjustment.
- Lever Arm: The 8” bent arm of the height control valve provides improved flexibility and ease of installation as the bent design can easily fit into confined spaces within the vehicle’s suspension setup. The 8” length is crucial as it provides precise control over the suspension system and ensures that the vehicle maintains level under different load conditions.
- Port Configuration: The Barksdale height control valve has a 5-port configuration which helps to manage the vehicle’s suspension system. Each port of the leveling valves is used to connect different airlines and allows them to control multiple aspects of the suspension system. With the multiple port configuration, the air distribution across different parts of the suspension system becomes more efficient.
- Compatibility: The trailer leveler valves are designed to replace the OEM KD2205 part. They ensure that the bent arm is aligned properly with the suspension systems of the vehicle.
