Being offered here is a 1966 Mexico 1 Centavo coin made of brass (85% copper, 15% zinc), is 16 mm in diameter and weighs 2 grams. It is uncirculated, ungraded, uncertified and demonitized. The coin belongs to the historical period of Mexico from 1905 to the present day. Features the Mexico Coat of Arms with a left facing eagle, devouring a rattlesnake, perched on a prickly pear cactus on the obverse. The reverse features oat sprigs, surrounded by the denomination, date and mintmark. It was minted in Mexico City in 1966 and is identified by the KM number 417 and N#996. This collectible item can no longer be found in circulation and it represents a piece of Mexican numismatic history and would be a great addition to any coin collection.
